== Installation ==
Prerequisites: You must have the WooCommerce plugin installed and activated for this plugin to work.
Automatic Installation (Recommended):
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to
Plugins > Add New. - Search for “Live Event Seating for WooCommerce”.
- Click “Install Now” and then “Activate”.
Manual Installation:
- Download the plugin .zip file from the WordPress repository.
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to
Plugins > Add New. - Click “Upload Plugin” and choose the .zip file you downloaded.
- Click “Install Now” and then “Activate”.
Initial Setup (Required):
- Create a “Ticket” Product: Go to
Products > Add Newin your dashboard. Create a “Simple Product” (e.g., “Gala Ticket”) and give it a price. This product will represent one seat. - Create Your Event: Go to the new
Eventsmenu in your dashboard and click “Add New”. - Configure the Event:
- In the “Event Seating Settings” box, select the WooCommerce product you created in Step 1.
- Use the “Seating Plan Builder” to drag-and-drop tables and stages to create your layout. Click on elements to edit their properties (label, number of seats).
- Optionally set a booking window or disable the orphan rule for this specific event.
- Click “Update” or “Publish” to save your event.
- Display the Seating Plan:
- Copy the shortcode provided in the “Event Seating Settings” box. It will look like
