This feature gives you the freedom to rotate seating chart elements exactly how you want.
We have replaced the old, rigid 90-degree button with a fluid and intuitive slider control. This seemingly small change has a huge impact on your ability to create professional, accurate, and beautiful venue maps.
From Rigid Clicks to Smooth Control
The previous “Rotate” button was functional, but it wasn’t flexible. It limited you to just four angles. For venues with curved walls or diagonal layouts, this was a major creative roadblock.
Our new rotation tool changes everything. It includes:
- A Full-Range Slider: Drag the slider to smoothly rotate an element from 0 to 360 degrees.
- Live Visual Preview: As you move the slider, the selected element on your seating chart rotates in real-time. You see exactly what you’re doing, as you do it.
- Precise Number Input: For perfect alignment, you can type an exact degree value (like “45” or “12.5”) directly into the number box.
This combination of tools offers both speed and precision. Therefore, you can quickly angle elements into place and then fine-tune them for a perfect fit.

How to Use the New Rotation Tool
Using the new feature is incredibly easy. Simply click on a rotatable element in your seating chart builder, such as a table, a seat block, or an image. The Inspector panel will now show the new “Rotation” control.
From there, you can either drag the slider or type in the number box. The element on your canvas will respond instantly. It’s a seamless and intuitive way to get the exact placement you need.
